Warriors; Dawn

Book of the week: Warriors: Dawn by Erin Hunter. This is the second series book number 3. Brambleclaw, Squrirrelpaw, Stormfur, Tawnypelt, and Crowpaw are trying desprately to convince their Clans that they need to leave their old, familiar home before Twolegs pick them off Clan by Clan. Their leaders are stubborn and persistant and don't want to leave. After all, they would have no idea where they were going. They would have to trust the word of 5 cats who are beginning to distrust themselves. This is a fast-paced, exciting tale of the wild and cats. When I first read the series, I thought it was going to be awkward and too kittyish. But this shows everyone has a dream, a common dream. When heartbreak strikes, the author gives it gently so you won't shatter. You will not not put it down and I'm going to be very sad when I finish the series. This book won't let you down!-J.E.
